Thanks for the invite Mitch. I was going to try to attend but my son is home from college for spring break and we got busy on something. I said to myself....np....I will go in April. Then this morning. Oops.....maybe not. I guess I am not a devoted enough Camaro fan becasue I am going to have to miss your April meeting as I will be relaxing on a cruise ship that week. Guess it will be the May meeting....but hey!!! At least I will have the car out by then. Oldguy.....the reason Red cars get more tickets is becasue they truely are faster than all the other colors. How many have you had in your Red 68?
It takes a strong person to miss a club meeting for a cruise ship....I admire your sacrifice....
I was going to miss Saturdays tour for about the same reason, before it got canceled, and I did miss last months because I was at a more interesting Chevelle club meeting/demo. As you can see from my sig, I'm not exactly a one model man.....
None yet in the 68, but in the 5 red cars I've owned, got a ticket in all of them. If I were to venture a guess, the number would be, 7'ish. But then I gotten tickets in most of the 29 cars and trucks I've own, regaudless of color, make, or model. I even gotton a few on a snowmobile. Knock on wood I haven't contributed to the Police Ball in about 10 years now.
I used to get pulled over on a regular basis when I had my teal 25th Anniversary RS (Only got one ticket out of it, though). Since I sold it, I hadn't gotten a ticket for about 3 years. I finally broke that record last month over in Cottage Grove. A BS ticket, too....
I've never owned a Red car and I've gotten 1 speeding ticket in the last 30 years...and that's having driven over 1 million miles in a semi...
Now the period of time before that, well, I did get a "few" including 5 for 1 particular "incident"....
